Our students' flats are located in Pizzoli, a village on the outskirts of L'Aquila (around 10 km) in a two-building residence called and dedicated to "Giulia Carnevale", as a symbol of all the university students who died during the earthquake on April 6, 2009.

Each building has two floors built on the basis of high earthquake-proof standards.
Inside each building there are several flats, 40 squared meters each: 20 square meters for the dining room (with a fully equipped kitchen), 15 square meters for the bedroom (with two twin beds) and 5 square meters for the en-suite bathroom. Each flat is fully equipped: household appliances (fridge, cooker, oven..., no microwave!), kitchen utensils, cutlery, pots, bed linen, blankets, towels. There will also be a common laundry room in one of the buildings (to be confirmed yet). As for the Internet, a free of charge wifi connection is available as well.

The standard is that two students share a flat. In the residence there are also smaller flats (20 square meters in total) to be rent as one-room flats by a single student, but there are only a couple available and the price is quite higher (more information will be sent by email).

13. Launderette: “Lavanderia Self-Service - Profumo di Pulizia”. Address: corso Sallustio, 209. Open Mon-Sun from 9am-9pm. One wash load (up to 10 KG) costs EUR 4,00. One dry load (up to 17 KG) costs EUR 3,00.
